Sam is a management accountant who believes ‘black and white’ is a useful phrase to remember when it comes to tax planning and understanding your true position in terms of wealth, whether your business is in the agriculture sector or a corporate professional services firm.
Originally from the Central Coast, Sam is now based in Newcastle. Throughout his career, Sam has spent many years working for large agriculture clients in regional New South Wales. His time working in the bush formed the foundations for Sam’s pragmatic approach to not only taking care of a client’s taxation needs but making sure their structures and strategies are developed to deliver maximum value to businesses.
With extensive knowledge of trading structures and small business capital gains tax concessions, Sam’s clients value his ability to ensure their tax and business structures meet their unique objectives. His specialities include management accounting, financial reporting, strategic financial planning, and taxation.
A partner with DFK Crosbie since July 2021, Sam commenced his career as a manager with a regional chartered accounting firm. He remains a partner of the firm following the merge of DFK Crosbie and Pitcher Partners Newcastle and Hunter to unite under the Pitcher Partners brand in late 2021.
