Throughout his career as a trusted advisor, Michael has been actively involved in his client’s business affairs holding board positions and attending management and advisory board meetings. He is a great believer in “getting out and about” to meet with them too; Michael visits rural and country businesses on site at their premises to thoroughly understand what they do and how they work best. This enables him to provide the best solutions, clearly crafted to suit their needs.
In addition to his experience in providing leading business, financial and management advice, Michael is also highly proficient in the planning and implementation of succession plans. Michael first joined the practice in 1983 and was admitted to Principal in 1988. He was later promoted to Managing Principal of the firm, a position he held from 1997 to 2003. Michael has previously served as Chairman of an international accounting network, where he was responsible for firm growth within the Asia-Pacific region.
