Kylie is an accountant by training but more significantly a trusted and valued adviser. Kylie continually works with dynamic approach to ensure family and third parties get the right taxation, commercial and practice outcomes. She is a strong advocate for the firm’s holistic approach to clients, backed by technical expertise and integrity.
Kylie understands that no two clients experience the same circumstances. No matter who the client, she makes time to ensure each client’s unique needs are accommodated. Due to Kylie’s vast network she is often described by her clients as their ‘go-to’. She remains as the centre for her clients, and is always able to refer onwards when needed to ensure their problems are solved.
As a senior female leader, Kylie champions women in business through various forums and networks and is proud to lead the diversity committee.
Kylie sees firsthand the need to acknowledge, encourage and embrace different ways of doing business with clients, advisory boards and employees across different industry sectors. The deeper the relationships, the better the outcome for growth and success. Kylie’s expertise within the business psychology of transitions in succession, retirement, selling off, and assisting clients in letting go of their business identity is incomparable.
Kylie originally joined Pitcher Partners as a senior manager after gaining experience in other mid-tier firms. The opportunity to have the depth and breadth in advisory, and offer more than just compliance, drew her to the firm initially. Kylie progressed to a Partner of the Brisbane firm in 2006. The dynamics of partner relationships makes Kylie proud to be working at Pitcher Partners.
