Jason is a proven leader and trusted advisor. Having been a partner in both the Audit and Assurance and Private Business and Family Advisory divisions of the firm, his breadth of experience spans taxation, financial reporting, auditing and assurance, financial analysis and budgeting and cash flow management. Jason seeks out new challenges and has a special interest in helping not-for-profit businesses remain compliant.
Jason works across a broad range of industries, offering extensive experience with the audit and financial reporting obligations of listed public companies and small to large private organisations, not-for-profit entities and local government. He keeps his clients’ best interests at the forefront of his mind at all times. With more than 30 years public practice experience, Jason is well placed to understand the regulatory dynamics and complex risk and reporting framework surrounding his clients’ businesses.
Having worked across multiple disciplines, Jason understands the business lifecycle and offers relevant, commercial and pragmatic advice to a diverse range of businesses. His business understanding and expertise was deepened through a secondment based in London, where he worked in the international shipping industry in the UK and Eastern Europe.
From 2012 to 2018, Jason served as the division head of the Audit and Assurance division for Pitcher Partners Brisbane, and represented the firm on a national basis. He also held the role of chair of a local government audit and risk committee for over five years.
Jason commenced his professional career with KPMG in Brisbane in 1990 and joined Pitcher Partners in 1996. He became a Partner in 2001.
