Jason specialises in working with building and construction businesses and those businesses that don’t fit the typical business structure. Whether it’s a hotel or accommodation provider looking to optimise their business structures or a hospitality company getting their tax structures in place to accommodate future growth, Jason has worked with a range of SMEs throughout his 25 year career.
As a strategic business adviser who believes in diving deep into a business through regular management reporting, health checks and communication, Jason’s clients value his data-driven and personable approach. He believes businesses need an adviser that actively monitors their performance year-round, not just at tax and reporting times, and this is what Jason delivers to his clients — peace of mind and reducing the risk of cash flow challenges through data analysis.
Providing advice and strategy for building and construction and other companies with $2 million or more in annual turnover, Jason loves working with unique businesses in non-typical industries, for example a niche tourism or hospitality offering.
With a career with the firm that spans over 25 years, Jason became a partner of DFK Crosbie in 2003. He is also a charted accountant and business adviser. Having worked with the firm throughout many iterations of growth and change, Jason understands how to build a high-performing team, nurture young talent and ensure clients receive the tailored advice and close working relationship they need to grow.
Jason remains a partner of the firm following the merge of DFK Crosbie and Pitcher Partners Newcastle and Hunter to unite under the Pitcher Partners brand in late 2021.
