Daniel specialises in working with active trading clients, offering a range of support – from Board decision-making to compliance and growth strategies – in order to ease the burden of financial management on business owners so they are freed up to play to their core strengths. He focusses on private and family run businesses, as well as investment businesses owned by high net worth individuals, with turnovers ranging from $5 to $200 million per annum.
Honesty underpins Daniel’s approach with clients. He is a technical specialist but distils his expertise into practical and commercial advice that can be readily applied. With broad experience spanning retail, wholesale, distribution, construction, private families and agriculture, Daniel can adapt his expertise to any industry.
Daniel leads a team who interact with people at all levels of a business, from the bookkeeper to the business owner. This wholistic approach reflects his philosophy of caring for clients by developing strong relationships over time. In particular, he is proud of the growth he has witnessed in both the businesses he works with, and in his team.
Living in Melbourne’s South-East, Daniel has an astute awareness of the rapid growth in the region and was instrumental in establishing the Pitcher Partners’ service offering from Dandenong. Today, he sits on the Pitcher Partners South East Committee, shaping decision-making for the firm in the region.
Starting as a graduate at Pitcher Partners in 2006, Daniel became a partner in 2016. Controlling the direction of his career had always been important to him, but it was his dedication to clients and junior staff that ultimately motivated him to the join the partnership.
