Daniel has three decades of commercial business experience working with clients as their trusted advisor. He has significant experience within infrastructure and major projects in the public and private sectors, undertaking financial analysis and due diligence in relation to capital infrastructure and program alliances.
Daniel’s technical expertise is overlaid with commercial and business practicality. He is an expert in the provision of financial analysis, management accounting, strategic planning, taxation, accounting and business review services. With a deep understanding of business needs at all stages of a business’s lifecycle, he is able to draw from an extensive network of firm and external contacts to deliver finely tuned holistic solutions for clients.
Whether completing a successful project, or partnering to improve financial performance, Daniel takes great satisfaction in seeing his clients achieve success. He is considered a trusted ‘sounding board’ and works side-by-side with his clients to address challenges, and explore opportunities and options to improve decision making and strategy implementation.
Daniel is tenacious, with the confidence to think ahead and face challenges head on. In business, this translates as a drive to improve and refine the solutions the firm offers clients. He was instrumental in establishing a new form of procurement with a project-based, cost-focussed slant that has since become the foundation of Pitcher Partners’ approach for work of this nature in the public sector. In his personal life, Daniel undertakes marathon, endurance and riding events.
Daniel joined Pitcher Partners as a graduate and has spent time in Edinburgh on secondment. His aspirations to become a business owner were, in part, inspired by working alongside his father in the family business as he grew up. He became a partner of Pitcher Partners Melbourne in 2010.
