Daniel is a registered liquidator and bankruptcy trustee who assists corporates and individuals with their businesses and financial issues. Daniel looks to add value wherever possible, whether for a large not-for-profit organisation or his local sporting club. From working on large operating mines, which employ thousands of people, to small sole trader businesses, he has helped hundreds of businesses worldwide and formed long-standing professional relationships.
Daniel is the proud chairman of the Perth Critical Point Network (CPN) and loves catching up with CPN members to find out where he can assist them in either their own practice or with their clients.
Growing up in a small family business, Daniel loves being able to offer personal assistance to business owners across different industries. He spends countless hours meeting those who are facing financial stress and prides himself on giving pragmatic and informal solutions which could lead to a better outcome for all stakeholders. Where there is no informal alternative, he assists with formal insolvency solutions, guiding businesses and individuals through the complexities that come with these stressful situations.
With experience as a financial investigator for the Serious Fraud Office in London and as CFO and Company Secretary for an ASX-listed entity, Daniel appreciates the challenges that business owners and individuals face on a day-to-day basis. Through these experiences, he is able to come up with creative solutions regardless of the type of business or situation.
Daniel started his journey with Pitcher Partners in 2001 after arriving from South Africa via two years in London. He truly embodies the firm’s “making business personal” values as they align closely with his own professional ethos.
