Christian has worked in private client advisory and senior management roles over the last 20 years. Having also consulted to the industry he developed a multi-faceted understanding of the profession and its evolution.
At his core, Christian is highly motivated to help people and families live better lives and help support those critical charitable organisations that do the same in the broader community. He understands the importance of ‘earning the right’ to be the trusted adviser and takes this responsibility seriously by seeking a deeper understanding of the primary drivers and concerns of those he serves.
He works with high net worth clients and executives taking a holistic view in helping them to achieve their lifestyle goals. Christian is particularly focused on providing family wealth services; engaging the broader family group around the creation, protection and future transition of wealth. As a regular presenter at professional training and educational events, he draws on this experience when working with larger family groups: educating younger generations in relation to financial matters as well as engaging with the family’s other trusted advisers to ensure a coordinated approach.
Christian is also committed to serving the community and helping those who do the same by leveraging the collaborative Pitcher Partners national network which shares significant expertise and presence in servicing and advising not-for-profits (NFPs). Christian chairs the Pitcher Partners Perth not-for-profit committee, which coordinates the firm’s specialist capabilities in advising and servicing NFP clients in Western Australia.
Christian’s broad experience across the wealth management industry through the best and worst of investment markets makes him particularly discerning in relation to advising clients as well as reinforcing the core values that the Perth team demonstrate in managing and nurturing their relationships.
Having worked alongside Pitcher Partners for a number of years, Christian gained an understanding of the true client first approach and the superior capabilities that the national network could deliver for clients. Since joining the firm, additional advisers and experienced support team members have formed a similar understanding allowing WA to offer these capabilities to the families and charitable organisations in WA.
