Ashley is the partner in charge of Pitcher Partners Melbourne’s Private Business and Family Advisory (PBFA) division, and is a representative on the national PBFA liaison committee.
Ashley’s clients include trading businesses across a range of industries, from professional services and agribusiness, to publishing and property. All share a need for expert financial advice beyond their internal capabilities, to ensure their accounting and regulatory requirements are satisfied without risk in a highly commercial and tax effective manner.
With a wholistic view of family wealth, Ashley is also involved in the financial affairs of the families that own or have sold those businesses. His expertise includes managing succession planning, estate planning, wealth transition, cash flow management and superannuation.
Clients appreciate Ashley’s connectedness to a broad array of technical experts across the firm. His depth of experience, combined with an astute understanding of finance matters, means that he is able to ask the right questions in order to leverage the expertise of colleagues and get the best outcomes.
Ashley joined Pitcher Partners in 1993 and was admitted to the Melbourne partnership in 2006.
