About the team

As part of the leading Corporate Finance team in Melbourne’s middle market, you will support a team who provide independent and expert advice so that our clients can maximise their business potential and ensure positive outcomes from their transactions.

About the role

As a Team & Personal Assistant, you will provide end-to-end administrative support for 2 Corporate Finance Partners and the wider Corporate Finance team. This includes diary management, preparation of presentations and client documents, client management, organisation of team events/activities and training as required and the submission of billings. 

Key responsibilities

  • Support and manage the requirements of 2 Partners as well as the wider Corporate Finance team
  • Maintaining regular communication with Partners to ensure key expectations and priorities are agreed
  • Supporting Partners to manage their time effectively, including diary management, flagging potential clashes, and the identification of issues and providing solutions
  • Organising team functions/events, fortnightly team meetings, Partner/client boardroom meetings and lunches
  • Manage expenses and invoices within the required timeframes and identify and raise potential risks if timeframes cannot be met
  • Typing and formatting of all correspondence including general correspondence, client bills, proposals and presentations and ensuring firm standards are met
  • Supporting the team with accurate and timely submission of billings

Who we’re after

  • Experience as a Team Assistant in a professional services environment.
  • Experience with managing multiple stakeholders, prioritising tasks and process improvement.
  • Highly competent in MS Office programs such as Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word as well as experience with APS database and billings (or similar system).
