About the team

Private Business and Family Advisory (PBFA) is one of the largest divisions within Pitcher Partners Melbourne. You will be surrounded by driven, friendly and collaborative team. You have the opportunity to work closely with key internal stakeholders and see firsthand how they assist their client with the day-to-day operations of their business and advisory requirements.

About the role

The Practice manager is responsible for the efficient and high performing operations of the practice group. Through collaboration with the team, you will lead impact projects that are designed to enhance employee and client value propositions. As a key influencer of change, innovation and empowerment, the Practice Managers strong analytical and stakeholder management skills support a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Partner in Charge and take ownership of PBFA administrative duties and reporting.
  • Facilitate interactions within the leadership team to enhance the group’s effectiveness, assist with information sharing, communication and accountability across the team.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation five-year strategic.
  • Identify recurring problems and prevents future recurrence by integrating solutions into work processes.
  • Fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Who we’re after

  • High level of complex operational experience, ideally gained within a professional services firm.
  • Managed process improvements and initiatives.
  • Inquisitive and can influence relationships with senior internal stakeholders across divisions to ensure collaboration and clear communication.
  • You are a system savvy and can implement change.
