About the team

As an integral part of our Business Advisory and Assurance (BA&A) practice, the Outsourced Finance team provides outsourced finance and administrative services to a wide range of clients in varying industries, including infrastructure and asset management, retail, finance, and technology.

While acting as the outsource finance provider we are exposed to all aspects of our client’s businesses allowing us to gain valuable insight. Being so close to our clients allows us to provide the right advice and to leverage off other areas of our firm when required. 

About the role

Working in this team, you will manage the end-to-end bookkeeping requirements for a portfolio of clients, including problem-solving accounting and technology issues and assisting clients with cloud-based application solutions.

In addition to bookkeeping duties, you may will assist with the management of our bookkeeping team, onboarding of new clients and potentially manage staff.

Key responsibilities

  • Involvement in accurate and timely processing of payroll, accounts payable and receivables, maintaining general ledgers, cash flow forecasting and management reporting.
  • Preparation of banking, including preparation of workpapers and month end reconciliations.
  • Preparation of periodic Business Activity Statements, Instalment Activity Statements, and other statutory returns.
  • Advising clients on cloud-based accounting application solutions.
  • Liaising and developing relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

Who we’re after

Here are the some of the key qualifications, skills and personal attributes we’re looking for. If you tick most of the boxes, but not all – that’s ok! We’d still love for you to apply.

  • Related tertiary qualifications in accounting or bookkeeping with the relevant certificates and experience in professional services firm.
  • Experience in software’s such as Xero, QuickBooks and MYOB and can maintain multiple ledgers for a large variety of clients.
  • You can review the work of others, ensuring outcomes are accurate and meet client expectations, managing priorities and conflicting deadlines.
