About the team

Private Business and Family Advisory (PBFA) is one of the largest divisions within Pitcher Partners Melbourne. You will be surrounded by driven, friendly and collaborative team. You have the opportunity to work closely with our clients and assist with the day-to-day operations of their business and advisory requirements.

About the role

Within Private Business and Family Advisory team you will support a client base with a diverse range of accounting, advisory and tax services advice. Your day will be a mix of technical support and business advice. You will be supported by a collaborative team and be provided with Learning and Development opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Preparation and/or review of financial statements and tax returns
• Preparation and/or review of Year-end Tax Planning
• Preparation and/or review of Compliance such as BAS and IAS
• Assist with the maintenance of accounting software
• General accounting, tax and business advice

Who we’re after

Here are the some of the key qualifications, skills and personal attributes we’re looking for. If you tick most of the boxes, but not all – that’s ok! We’d still love for you to apply.

• Related tertiary qualifications in Commerce or Accounting and studying towards CA or CPA with experience within a professional services firm.
• Open communication with other employees within the firm relating to job progression and commitments. Also maintaining contact with clients in a professional manner, addressing any queries or concerns.
• High level of accounting and tax knowledge.
