The acquisition of Pitcher Partners client, Flight Data Systems (FDS) represents the latest addition to ACR Electronics’ growing portfolio of aviation brands, which includes ARTEX and SKYTRAC. The new unified affiliation between three of the industry’s leading companies will enable ACR Electronics to offer an enhanced product line and service offering for the aviation market place.
The business will retain its existing personnel, products, brands, engineering capabilities and locations. FDS Managing Director, Mr Darren Privitera, will also remain with the business ensuring the culture and values that have guided the businesses will be passed on during the transition.
Mr Privitera said, “Flight Data Systems has over 25 years’ experience in developing innovative products and creating leading solutions for commercial and military aircraft. I am excited about this new partnership with ACR Electronics that will combine the expertise and knowledge of both businesses.
