Anniversary of Newcastle and the Hunter’s largest accounting and business advisory firm

Today marks the one-year anniversary of the merger that formed Newcastle and the Hunter’s largest accounting, audit, and business advisory firm Pitcher Partners Newcastle and Hunter.

Reflecting on the amalgamation between DFK Crosbie and Pitcher Partners, Managing Partner Michael Minter said that the firm has solidified itself as the premier accounting, audit, wealth, and advisory firm in the region.

“Clients have access to expertise and knowhow from a network of firms across Australia and around the world. The merger has provided greater scale to enable growth and strengthened our presence in regional NSW,” said Mr Minter.

Both DFK Crosbie and Pitcher Partners have had a long history of providing clients tailored advice across business advisory, tax, audit, SMSF, wealth management, and finance. The merged firm provides specialist knowledge supporting a diverse range of industry sectors including hospitality, family and privately owned businesses, manufacturing, transport, medical, property and construction, as well as not-for-profit and aged care.

The practice has continued to grow adding 15 new team members since the merger with now upward of 140 staff across the two offices located in Newcastle and Maitland.
