Pitcher Partners AFR Top 100

PITCHER PARTNERS NATIONAL 3 NOVEMBER 2021:

The Australian Financial Review has once again named Pitcher Partners one of the top 10 accounting firms in the country in its annual Top 100 list.

Holding a steady position in the top 10 is a reflection of Pitcher Partners continuous improvements, high performance and agility.

Pitcher Partners National Chairman John Brazzale said the network’s six independent firms have secured this position by focussing on the challenges of clients and ensuring its people have had continuous support throughout 2021.

“Years of strong growth have put the firms across the Pitcher Partners network in a steady position to face the challenges that came with COVID-19,” said Mr Brazzale.

“First and foremost, our clients are the core of what we do. With another year filled with unpredictable lockdowns and varying restrictions, our priority has been to assist clients with navigating cashflow, capital expenditure commitments, new business opportunities, insolvencies, mergers and acquisitions and keeping our clients informed about federal and state government initiatives.

“The health and wellbeing of our people has also been top of mind. Each firm across the Pitcher Partners network introduced programs to support their employees through the challenges of the year. For example, Pitcher Partners Sydney introduced Everperform surveys to monitor their people’s wellbeing and engagement, with results being followed up with virtual check-ins, and Pitcher Partners Brisbane established a virtual forum for their junior staff to seek support from their peers and management.

“We remain focused on the support to our people and their wellbeing as they are the driving force behind our firms,” said Mr Brazzale.

Pitcher Partners is finishing 2021 strong with twelve new partners having joined the network, a new Managing Partner taking the helm at Pitcher Partners Sydney, a newly created role of CEO at Pitcher Partners Adelaide, and a successful merger between Pitcher Partners Newcastle and DFK Crosbie, expanding the Newcastle firm to over 140 people across two locations in the Hunter region.

The Pitcher Partners network is looking to 2022 with newfound opportunities and a strong growth mindset.

“We are committed to providing exceptional service to clients and ensuring that our people have a positive and safe environment to work in,” Mr Brazzale concluded.
