Mr Daisley was previously Director at customs and cross-border trade specialists Axum Pty Ltd and spent 13 years with PwC as Principal in charge of the Perth-based customs practice. Prior to PwC, he worked for the Australian Customs Service for 13 years as a Law Enforcement Officer.
He has more than 32 years’ experience in the industry and has managed Australian Industry Participation (AIP) plans, customs and fuel tax issues for some of the biggest mining, infrastructure and resource processing projects across Australia.
Specialising in international trade, fuel tax credits and AIP, Mr Daisley will be seeking to grow and develop these service offerings within the firm, further strengthening Pitcher Partners’ areas of expertise.
Pitcher Partners Perth Managing Director Leon Mok said Mr Daisley would be an invaluable addition to the leadership team.
“Darryl’s core expertise across these areas will allow us to promote a greater level of service for cross-border expansion and trade, and open the door to further business opportunities,” Mr Mok said.
“In an ever-changing international trade environment, Darryl’s skills will be vital for clients seeking to enter into import and export markets or to take advantage of free trade agreements.
“His expertise around the complexity of AIP planning makes him ideally suited to assisting clients with developing AIP plans for major projects.”
Mr Daisley’s appointment comes on the back of a series of high profile appointments, and as Pitcher Partners prepares to move to new, expanded premises at The Esplanade later this year.
