CPN Breakfast Briefing Series
We value your assets. Do you?

As business owners, accountants, lawyers and advisors, you know that assets typically get acquired, depreciated and revalued.  They even get sold, or even compulsory acquired by the government, or you want to give them to your kids and retire.  Sometimes, you have to pay for them twice (divorcee business owners know what we mean).

Understanding what your clients’ assets are really worth within their businesses is critical!  With asset depreciation typically the second highest ongoing cost in your business after salaries and wages, why are assets so readily overlooked?  Robert van Raay, Pitcher Partners Head of Tangible Asset Valuations, has a career spanning 34 years and will share his insights on how your clients can benefit from a restructure, or where they are negotiating a sale or purchase of assets.

Key takeaways from the session include:
• Learning a few insights in respect to assets that you didn’t know before.
• Case studies on the good, the bad and the ugly – what worked out well, not so well, and absolutely horribly for some clients and possibly advisors.
• Q&A – get your questions ready.
