​Which student program am I eligible for?

Graduate Program – a twelve month program for university students in their final year of study or recent university graduates (preferably within a few years of graduating).
Vacation Program – a six week placement for university students in their penultimate (second last) year of study.
Intern Program – a nine to ten month program for university students in penultimate (second last) year of study.
Career Insight (First Year Uni Program) – a two day program for university students in their first year of study.

You must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident of Australia to be eligible to apply for our student programs.

How do I apply?

You will need to apply online via our current vacancies page. The online application requires you to upload your resume and academic transcript. It should only take you 20 minutes to complete your application.

How many students does Pitcher Partners recruit each year?

It varies each year, although typically we recruit up to 50 graduates, 50 vacationers, 6 interns (Co-Op/IBL) and 30 participants for the Career Insight program each year in the Melbourne office.

What do we look for?

We look for students who are passionate and committed to self-development, possess excellent interpersonal skills, can demonstrate initiative, and are keen on working with interesting small to medium enterprises.

Do I need relevant work experience to apply?

No, however if you have any work experience (relevant or not) you should include this in your resume.

What is the recruitment process at PP?

If successful, you will be sent an email informing you that you have been shortlisted for an interview. The email will contain instructions on how to book in for an Information/Networking session and an interview time. You will be also sent an email requested you to complete an online aptitude test.
 
You will be required to attend a personal 30 minute interview and 60 minute Information/Networking session.
 
Application outcomes will be communicated by email and telephone.

Do I need to bring anything to the interview?

You will need to bring the original or a certified original copy of your academic transcript as well as proof of citizenship or residency (i.e. passport or birth certificate).

Vacation Program (Two recruitment drives per year)

How long are applications open?
